Parking & Shuttle Service

Parking is available onsite at Fort Edmonton Park

Parking Attendants will direct you when you arrive at Fort Edmonton Park. Onsite parking can fill quickly during peak hours (4-7 PM), so please allow extra time to arrive safely and on time for your event.

Guests may also access offsite public parking at WELCA and Whitemud Park. Our Festival Shuttle operates throughout the event, bringing you to and from the Fort Edmonton Park Front Entrance.

What happens if the Main Parking Lot is full when I arrive?

OFFSITE PUBLIC PARKING

Please head to Whitemud Park, just off Fox Drive. There are 4 public parking lots available with Shuttle Service to the Festival. Parking Attendants will direct you to offsite lots if you arrive and the onsite lots at Fort Edmonton Park are at capacity. 

1. OVERFLOW LOT 1 — WELCA (Whitemud Equine Learning Centre Association)
2. OVERFLOW LOT 2 — West
3. OVERFLOW LOT 3 — East
4. OVERFLOW LOT 4 — Alfred H. Savage Centre

NOTICE: These parking lots are unattended, self-managed, and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I get to the Festival from the offsite lots in Whitemud Park?

SHUTTLE SERVICE

A Shuttle Service will operate during festival hours to transport guests to the Fort Edmonton Park Front Entrance where tickets will be scanned for entry. 

Shuttle Pick Up & Drop Off

1. Whitemud Equine Learning Centre Association (WELCA)
2. Keillor Road (just off Fox Drive)
3. Alfred H. Savage Centre
4. Fort Edmonton Park Front Entry/Exit

You can take the shuttle back to your vehicle by waiting at the Shuttle Drop Off/Pick Up Area near the Front Entrance.

Shuttle Details

The Shuttle runs on a continuous loop, stopping at the front entrance approximately every 30–40 minutes. Timing may vary depending on traffic and weather

FRIDAY 3 – 10pm
SATURDAY 12 – 10PM
SUNDAY 12 – 8PM

Can I walk to the Festival site from Whitemud Park?

Yes! The offsite lots are an approximate 15-20 minute walk to/from site. You can walk along the public trails.
