An Afternoon with Korora Choirs’ Shumayela and ChandraTala

Experience the beauty of voices coming together with ChandraTala and Shumayela from Korora Choir for a special afternoon performance at the Capitol Theatre.

Under the direction of Laura Hawley, ChandraTala is an accomplished upper-voices ensemble known for rich harmonies, diverse repertoire and collaborations with artists including the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Canadian Chamber Choir.

Shumayela, a choir for treble and changing voices, has performed across Canada and beyond, including at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Wherever they perform, their focus remains the same: creating joy, connection and community through song.
